# Athenahealth

## Overview

Use this tip sheet to summarize records from your Athena Health EHR. If you have enabled Carequality integration, it will also retrieve and summarize external records from the national health information exchange.

### 1. Fill [this form](https://marketplace.athenahealth.com/authorization-consent?product=abstractive-health) to enable Abstractive Health within your Athena Tablespace

### 2. Log in to Athena Health with your account credentials.

### 3. Click the search bar at the top, enter your patient name and click the search icon.

### 4. Select the right patient and then click "Chart".

### 5. In the patient chart, click "Apps".

### 6. Then click "Abstractive Health".

### 7. Your first time accessing Abstractive Health, you will either need to login or create a new account.

Your Athena Health account login will be linked to Abstractive Health, so you will not need to log in again in the future.

### 8. Once you log in or create your account, the app will begin summarizing the notes and a summary will be available for your review. Once the summary is ready, you can access it by clicking on “View”.
